Black Hat Sessions (BHS) is Secura’s annual security conference where professionals meet up to be up to date with the new trends in the digital security's world.
During the 19th edition, I was selected to be the Chairman of the technical track in which speakers could deep dive into the technical details of their topics.
Locked Shields

Locked Shields is the world’s largest and most advanced international technical live-fire cyber defense exercise.
I took part in the test run as a Blue Team member (defense) hardening multiple Linux machines against the cyber-attacks of the Red Team (offense).
In the official competition, as a White Team member, I had to simulate traffic in the network and help the Red Team to carry on the attacks.
Android Hackaton
‘Milano-Bicocca’ University, Italy
Leader of a 5 people team that developed an Android app based on Open Data.
In 24 hours we developed an Android app for helping young Italians with choosing their upper-secondary school depending on their interests.
We used the Open Data on all schools in Italy, and we optimized the research by using a binary search algorithm.
SpotyFree
Personal Project
I wrote an Android app to automatically generate free Spotify accounts by giving a username and a password to the user.
This way people have the chance of using the 48-hour premium trial.
This project was a big success and became famous through internet forums and blogs. It was among the top apps in lot of countries such as Sweden, Norway, Italy and more.
Master of Talents

Master of Talents (‘Master dei Talenti’ in Italian) was a contest that I won which gave me the chance to spend 10 weeks in Ireland in a work context.
I was based in Mallow, a town in Cork, working for a company that provides IT services.
